Town of Madison Request for Proposals Strategic Planning Services

OVERVIEW

The Town of Madison, Connecticut (Town) is seeking proposals from interested and qualified organizations and firms to provide Strategic Planning Services, under a fixed price contract. The targeted start date for performing these services is March 2023.

Proposals, including supporting documentation, are due by 10 a.m., on Friday, February 10, 2023, at Town Campus, 8 Campus Drive, Madison, Connecticut, 06443. Submittals shall be clearly marked as: RFP Strategic Planning Services. Offerors must include one (1) original, three (3) copies, and a digital copy on a USB Flash Drive by the stated deadline.

Proposals delivered after the time and date set for receipt of proposals shall not be accepted and will be returned unopened to the offeror. It is the offeror’s responsibility to ensure timely delivery of their proposal. Weather, flight delays, carrier errors and other acts of otherwise excusable neglect are risks allocated to offerors and will not be exempted from deadline requirements. E-mail, telephone, or facsimile proposals will not be accepted.

An evaluation team will select the candidates from the submittals, review the proposals for the evaluation criteria, and determine which candidates will be interviewed for further consideration. A satisfactory negotiation for a contract will be performed. The Final candidate will be referred to the Board of Selectmen for approval. This process is expected to be completed by February 28, 2023.
