Madison Town Hall Concrete Steps Project
Sealed Bids for the Madison Town Hall Steps Project will be received at the Office of the First Selectwoman located at the Town Hall, 8 Campus Drive, Madison, Connecticut 06443, until 2:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at which time the Bids received will be immediately thereafter publicly opened and read aloud. Due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, the bid opening will be held outdoors at the main entrance to the Town Hall across from the police station. Masks and proper social distancing shall be required by all Bidders.

The Work as shown on the Construction Drawings titled “Madison Town Hall Concrete Step Project” dated 10-30-2019, includes the removal of bituminous concrete pavement, excavation, grading and the installation of precast concrete steps at two different locations at the Madison Town Hall. The foregoing is a general description only, and shall not be construed as a complete description of the Work to be performed for the project.

Interested persons may request the digital version of the Construction Drawings by contacting the Town of Madison Beach and Recreation Department via phone at 203-245-5623 during the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. local time, Monday through Thursday and 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. local time on Fridays.

Bond Requirements
A Payment (Labor and Material) Bond and a Performance Bond will be required as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders.

The Town of Madison reserves the right to waive any informalities, irregularities or defects in Bids, to reject any or all Bids, and to accept a Bid that in its sole discretion is in the best interest of the Town.
