August 11th Primary
You may have heard that the mail house contracted by the Secretary of the State did not mail absentee ballots during the week of July 27th as anticipated. The Madison Town Clerk's office would like to assure you that they isolated those applications, processed the ballots and mailed them on the Tuesday August 4, 2020.
To ensure that your ballot will be in on time, voters are encouraged to return their completed ballots in the secure drop box. Please place your ballot in both the inner and outer envelopes. Once deposited in the drop box your ballot is considered received by your Municipality. Your ballot should be deposited in the secure drop box no later than 8 p.m. on August 11, 2020.
Madison's drop box is located outside the main entrance of Town Hall facing the Police Department to the left of the entrance between the columns under the overhang. It is marked Town Clerk Only-Official Drop Box.
Additionally, polling locations will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
