The town will be holding two public meetings to discuss and solicit feedback from residents on the proposed revisions to the Tax Abatement & Freeze Program for Certain Elderly and/or Totally Disabled Homeowners Ordinance. Town staff, the Board of Selectmen and the Board of Finance have been working together to streamline the application process, simplify the benefits, and expand the current program(s) to help some of our most vulnerable residents.
There will be a Public Information Session (in person only) on Thursday, November 9th at 2:00 p.m. at the Senior Center, and a Board of Selectmen Public Hearing on Wednesday, November 15th at 6:00 p.m. at Town Campus and Remote via Zoom.
Further information on these meetings including meeting links, viewing the proposed ordinance, and supporting documentation can be found on the town website.
