Bauer Park Harvest Festival
Tomorrow, October 14th from 11 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. the Town will be hosting a great fall tradition - the Bauer Park Harvest Festival at Bauer Park on Copse Road at the intersection with Hunter's Trail. This is a free, family friendly old-fashioned country fair at Madison's Historic Farm Bauer Park and includes hay and pony rides, children's crafts, apple tasting and cider press, pumpkin painting, a hay maze, live music, scarecrow making, and more. This is a rain or shine event.
Rockland Preserve Native Pollinator Habitat Planting Fest 2023
The Rockland Preserve Advisory Committee is looking for volunteers to help plant shrubs and perennials for its native pollinator habitat at Rockland Preserve on Saturday, October 28th, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. (rain date Oct 29). CEDS would like to update their data on the economic vitality of the South Central Connecticut region as part of their follow-up on the 2023-2028 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS). To evaluate the region’s progress, they need your input. If you are a business owner, please provide any unmet needs, resilience plans for future economic disruptions, sustainability activities, and diversity, equity, and inclusion plans that you have implemented. CT Energy Assistance Program Applications
The Madison Senior Services is currently taking applications for the Connecticut Energy Assistance Program for Madison residents age 65 and over. Please contact the Senior Center at 203-245-5627 to check for eligibility. Adults and families can contact Madison Youth and Family Services for eligibility assistance at 203-245-5645.
Absentee Ballots for 2023 Municipal Election
The 2023 Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, November 7th and Absentee Ballots are available in the Town Clerk’s office. You can obtain an Absentee Ballot Application in the Town Clerk's office or from the website. The Town Clerk would like you to know that many campaigns are mailing voters an Application for Absentee Ballot so you may receive more than one. If you choose to vote by Absentee Ballot and have submitted an Application to the Town Clerk, please disregard the others. Additionally, the Application must be fully completed or it will be returned to you. The drop box located outside of Town Campus is open to receive Applications and Ballots. Absentee Ballots must be returned by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day to be counted. Polls will be open on Election Day, Tuesday, November 7th, from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Trunk or Treat
Madison’s Traditional Halloween favorite, Trunk or Treat, will be held on the Town Green on Tuesday, October 31st from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Organized by the Madison Chamber of Commerce, Madison Police Department and the Town of Madison, this event offers an opportunity for families to gather in a safe outdoor environment to celebrate Halloween. Decorated car trunks are welcome but must be registered in advance. TRUNK OR TREAT REGISTRATION
