Summer Concert Options

Tax Bills
A reminder that the first installment of tax on the 2022 Grand List was due July 1, 2023. The last day to pay the July 1, 2023 installment without penalty is August 1, 2023 (US Postmark). Payments not bearing a US Postmark must be received by 4:30 p.m. on August 1, 2023, to avoid interest, per CT Statute 12-146. The tax office is accepting payments in person, by mail, and through the Tax Payment Drop Box (located on the exterior wall of the Tax Collector’s Office). M&T Bank offers in-branch tax payment processing during the month of July for current tax bills. The original tax bill must be provided at the time of processing. Tax bills are also viewable and payable online at www.madisonct.org/taxpayments.
Special Town Meeting Monday, July 24th
Please be advised that the town will hold a Special Town Meeting on Monday, July 24th at 6:30 p.m., at Town Campus to approve a special appropriation of $2,400,000 from the Town’s unassigned fund balance for the construction of additional classrooms at the new Pre-Kindergarten- Grade 5 school on Mungertown Road. Beachcomber Night
On Thursday, August 17th the Madison Chamber of Commerce will celebrate Beachcomber Night in downtown Madison from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Beachcomber Night is an outdoor event featuring live music, wine, & beer tastings, food vendors, and drawings for great prizes. The event will span both the north and south sides of Rt. 1, as well as Wall Street. Part of this year’s proceeds will benefit Madison Hose Company No. 1 and North Madison Volunteer Fire Dept.
