The Towns of Madison and Killingworth are preparing to begin a project to reconstruct the County Road Bridge over the Hammonasset River. County Road will be closed at the Madison – Killingworth Town Line from March 1, 2022 to October 5, 2022 due to the bridge construction.  A detour route will be posted for County Road to direct traffic around the construction area.  For additional information please contact the Madison Department of Public Works at 203-245-5611.
