Dear Residents,
As of today, Madison currently has 68 positive cases of COVID-19 infections. Our hearts are with those inflicted with this illness. In order to continue to slow the spread of the virus in our town, please remember to wear a mask in public places where social distancing is difficult, such as grocery stores and pharmacies. The cloth face coverings can be fashioned from household items and made at home. For those seniors having difficulties finding a mask for personal use, please contact Madison Senior Services at 203-245-5627 and they can make arrangements to provide you with one.
As a reminder, the Board of Finance will conduct a public hearing on the next year’s Budget this Wednesday, April 29th, at 7 p.m. through a Zoom webinar platform. Details and links to access the Public Hearing are on the town’s meeting calendar. Residents can send comments on the budget prior to the Public Hearing by emailing the Board at bof@madisonct.org. The Board of Finance will meet again on May 5th to set the final mill rate for the next fiscal year.
Once again, please remain vigilant in your efforts to combat this virus by staying safe, healthy and at home Madison.
