To all licensed food establishments in the Town of Madison:

In an effort to prevent the transmission of Coronavirus (COVID-19), and in compliance with state and local government directives, all restaurants and bars are directed to close today March 16, 2020, at 8 P.M. local time until further notice. Here is the announcement by the Governor’s office:

Restaurants and bars that serve food will temporarily be required to move to take-out and delivery services only. Bars that do not serve food will be required to temporarily close.

While these actions may feel overly disruptive, please keep in mind that this situation is evolving on an hour-by-hour basis and we will endeavor to make timely and appropriate decisions to keep our community safe. We appreciate your cooperation, please be patient as more guidance is forthcoming.
