What is a Strategic Plan? 

• A plan that covers Town Services goals and directions for a ten-year period (2019 to 2029) 

What does a Strategic Plan do?

• Gives Town leaders clear policy direction that will guide the preparation of budgets and work plans in the future
• Provides a mechanism for tracking progress toward the accomplishment of goals that are essential to the prosperity and continued growth of the Town

The current draft Strategic Plan:

• The current draft can be found at www.madisonct.org/StrategicPlan 
• Reflects a broadly inclusive vision resulting from community input sessions, a community survey, interviews with Town leaders and strategic planning workshops

A Community Input Session was held on July 25, 2019 with the intent to allow an opportunity for residents to discuss their thoughts about the vision, mission, values, priorities and goals for Town services.
