At a meeting held on March 14, 2018, the Board took the following action:

8206.  516 Horsepond Road.
  Map 84, Lot 18.  RU-1 District.  Request to vary Sec. 5.5(f) of the Madison Zoning Regulations to allow a front yard setback of 30 ft. where 40 ft. is required to construct a second floor addition to existing dwelling.  Approved.

8208.  801 Boston Post Road.  E.C. Scranton Memorial Library.  Map 38, Lots 41, 42, 43, 45.  DW District.  Owner:  E.C. Scranton Memorial Library; Applicant:  EC Scranton Library Expansion Building Committee.  Request to vary Secs. 6.2.3 (f&i) of the Madison Zoning Regulations to allow 37.2% coverage where 35% is allowed; 20,144 sq. ft. interior first floor area where 3,000 sq. ft. is allowed; parking space dimensions of 9 ft. x 16 ft. where 9 ft. x 18 ft. is required; all to permit a two story addition and renovations to the existing E. C. Scranton Memorial Library.  Approved.
            
7916 Modification of Previous Variance.  4 Waterbury Avenue.  Map 29, Lot 84.  R-4 District.  Owners/Applicants:  Peter & Victoria Clement.  Request for modification of previously approved variance to eliminate a condition restricting a compliant use in the Zoning District.  Approved.

8209.  Ridge Road.  Map 77, Lot 20.  RU-1 District.  Owner:  Town of Madison; Applicant:  Connecticut Water Company.  Request to vary Sec. 2.7 of the Madison Zoning Regulations to permit a 75 ft. high water storage tank where 50 ft. is allowed.  Approved.
