MADISON ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

Notice is hereby given that the Board will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, 7:00 P.M., Meeting Room A, Town Campus, 8 Campus Drive, Madison, CT, to consider the following:
8206. 516 Horsepond Road. Map 84, Lot 18. RU-1 District. Request to vary Sec. 5.5(f) of the Madison Zoning Regulations to allow a front yard setback of 30 ft. where 40 ft. is required to construct a second floor addition to existing dwelling.
8208. 801 Boston Post Road. E.C. Scranton Memorial Library. Map 38, Lots 41, 42, 43, 45. DW District. Owner: E.C. Scranton Memorial Library; Applicant: EC Scranton Library Expansion Building Committee. Request to vary Sec. 6.2.3(i) interior floor area of 21,195 sq. ft. where maximum of 3,000 sq. ft. is allowed and building width of 181 ft. where 50 ft. is allowed; Sec. 6.2.3(f) building coverage of 39.1% where maximum of 35% is allowed; and Sec. 8.9 parking space dimensions of 9 ft. x 16 ft. for 15 spaces where 9 ft. x 18 ft. is required; all to permit a two story addition and renovations to the existing E. C. Scranton Memorial Library.
7916 Modification of Previous Variance. 4 Waterbury Avenue. Map 29, Lot 84. R-4 District. Owners/Applicants: Peter & Victoria Clement. Request for modification of previously approved variance to eliminate a condition restricting a compliant use in the Zoning District.
8209. Ridge Road. Map 77, Lot 20. RU-1 District. Owner: Town of Madison; Applicant: Connecticut Water Company. Request to vary Sec. 2.7 of the Madison Zoning Regulations to permit a 75 ft. high water storage tank where 50 ft. is allowed.
