BUSINESS

1. Discuss and take action to Declare a State of Emergency Resolution as follows: 

RESOLUTION

The Board of Selectmen of the Town of Madison, in anticipation of the impending arrival of Tropical Storm Henri, hereby declares a Local Civil Preparedness Emergency, commencing at 12:00 a.m. on August 22, 2021 and lasting for as long thereafter as the Town is in a state of duress from damage resulting from the storm, but not longer than one week without further action by the Board. The First Selectwoman is authorized to take such action as she deems necessary in accordance with CGS Section 28-8a.

2. Adjournment.
