The Board of Selectmen of the Town of Madison hereby gives notice that it will conduct a special town meeting of the electors and citizens qualified to vote in town meetings of the Town of Madison, Connecticut, will be held in Town Campus Room A on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. for the following purposes:
1.A Special Appropriation in the amount of $75,000 to fund the Legal Services account; pending Board of Finance approval.
2.A Special Appropriation in the amount of $29,147 for the purchase of electronic speed signs as requested in the 2022/23 budget request; pending Board of Finance approval.
3.A Special Appropriation in the amount of $290,000 into the major roads account to fund road paving; pending Board of Finance approval.
