Managing Your Health Insurance

Employees who participate in the Town of Madison and Madison Public Schools health insurance plans are encouraged to visit the Anthem website at www.anthem.com.

By registering under "myanthem", you can manage your health benefits information in a fast and convenient fashion. Through member self-service you can: check the status of a claim, new membership information, change your primary care physician, if applicable, update your address and request a new identification card. One of the most interesting features is being able to see the VALUE of your health insurance and what's being paid on your behalf.

To log on to MyAnthem featuring online member services, visit www.anthem.com >Members> click on MyAnthem Login > enter your information and look at your own very specific and secure information.

  • Live Health Online New feature provided by Anthem for online medical care.  It’s simple to get started – Sign Up, Choose a doctor and begin your session.  Cost is the same as what you would pay for an office visit!  To access this feature your computer needs to be connected to high speed internet and have a web cam or built in camera feature.  The site can also be downloaded to a smart phone through LiveHealth Online in the App Store or on Google Play.

Town employees and their families have benefits available to them through KGA EAP.  This is a 24/7 service that provides 3 cost-free counseling visits per employee/household. KGA EAP can be used to address a wide variety of topics including substance/alcohol abuse; depression, family issues and stress management.  KGA EAP also provides legal, financial and identity protection, child and eldercare referrals.
