Residents Only Beach Parking: May 9, 2020 - September 9, 2020

In order to reduce visitor volume and maintain social distancing at town beach facilities during the state of public health emergency, parking at all three Madison Beaches on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays is restricted to Madison taxpayers only through September 9, 2020 (per Executive Order #6

Effective Saturday, July 20, 2020 a Madison beach sticker, or receipt for online purchase (within 10 days of purchase) will be the only form of proof of residency to permit use of beach parking lots. 


  •     Surf Club and East Wharf gates are manned 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
  •     West Wharf gate is manned 8:00 am to 8:00 pm


The Lifeguards will be on duty 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Surf Club and East Wharf beaches.

Face Masks are required whenever a six foot distance cannot be maintained.

Due to COVID-19:

All fields remain closed.

All basketball hoops have been removed.

Tennis courts are locked.

Every effort is being  make to keep our open spaces open for proper uses and social distancing.

All ordinances remain in effect, including no dogs on the beaches, no smoking, no consumption of alcohol.
