Photo must have been taken on or after October 1, 2021.
Image Sizes: Children’s category: photos must be 4 x 6” or 5 x 7” Teens & Adults: minimum of 4 x 6” to a maximum of 8 x 10”
All photos shall be mounted on black foam, mat board or card stock with a 2” border on all sides of the photo (note that if you have a white border on your photo it is NOT included in the 2" black border, it shall be considered part of the photo size). *Category, title, name and age shall legibly be printed on the back of each photo submission (you may attach a copy of the completed entry form if you prefer) *an electronic image at 300dpi in tiff or jpg format shall be emailed to email@example.com *No more than 4 photos per category may be submitted by one participant. *All photos must be taken within the boundaries of Bauer Park, except for the “Other Parks” category.
Drop off your prepared photos and entry form at the Madison Beach and Recreation Department office (at the Surf Club) Monday September 25, through Tuesday October 10, 2023 during business hours 8:30am-4:00pm M-Th , 8:30-12 F. Please note that the offices will be closed on Monday October 9. To arrange an alternate drop off time, email firstname.lastname@example.org
Judging will be conducted by members of the Bauer Park Committee and guest judges. All decisions are final.
Winners will be announced and works will be displayed at the Bauer Park Harvest Festival October 14, 2023.
Entrants consent to the use of their photos for publicity purposes by the Town of Madison in print and on web (with credit given) and possible publication in The Source.
While the Bauer Park Committee (BPC) will do everything possible to protect the works of art, the BPC, its chair, Ted Rahmann, and guest judges are not responsible for loss or damage to any prints entered into the contest and show.
Photos may be picked up at Madison Beach and Rec. after November 1,2023 during posted business hours.
