NEW BUSINESS

6. Discuss and take action to approve a Proclamation honoring Eagle Scout Frances John Guarascio. 

7. Discuss and take action on a Proclamation for Green Up, Clean Up Day. 

8. Discuss and take action to revise the call of the meeting for the February 27, 2017 Public Hearing as follows: 

The legal voters of the Town of Madison are hereby warned and notified that the Board of Selectmen will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 7:15 p.m. Town Campus Room A. 

The purpose of this meeting is to hear comment on:

     1. The 2017 Small Cities Community Development Program Application process for Concord Meadows Retirement Community. 

     2. Revising Town Ordinances governing Fire Prevention and Protection, Chapter 8 Articles I and II.

9. Discuss and take action to approve the hiring of Heather Dineen to the budgeted position of Communication Technician, 40 hours, $19.89 to start, in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement between the Town of Madison and the United Public Service Employees Union.

10. Discuss and take action to approve a Line Item Transfer request from the Facilities Department in the amount of $20,000 to aid in maintenance of the street lights. 

11. Discuss and take action to approve a Line Item Transfer request from the Facilities Department in the amount of $1,500 to cover overtime due to emergency call in repairs, long weekend, holiday hours, etc. 

12. Discuss and take action to approve a Line Item Transfer request from the Public Works Department in the amount of $4,000 to cover unexpected expenses for Highway Working Gear to comply with collective bargaining requirements.  

13. Discuss and take action to approve a Line Item Transfer request from the Public Works Department in the amount of $25,000 to cover additional fleet repair expenses.  

14. Discuss and take action to approve a Line Item Transfer request from the Facilities Department in the amount of $6,000 to cover tree removal/pruning requests through June 30, 2017. 

15. Discus and take action to approve the resignation of Philip Maniero from the Salt Meadow Park Governance Committee Alternates.
